This course is designed for Christians who want to know how you can grow in Christ. This course is designed for believers of all new birth ages who are tired of sermons and teachings with no meat of God's word. This course is not filled with unnecessary commentary nor pleasing fleshy carnal earthly desires of humanistic philosophy mixed with a touch of biblical theology.
The Apostle Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit and commanded of Christ said to Pastor/Evangelist Timothy and all preachers today"
"Therefore, I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ who shall judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom:
Preach the word, be diligent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears
and they shall turn away ears from the truth and shall be turned into fables." 2 Timothy 4:1-4.
Itching ears means: desiring to hear something pleasant to the mind. Life style's after the many worldly kinds taught with humanistic idea's mixed with bible words to sound good but misses the mark. A watering down of clear Bible wording that changes our life into the image of Christ. Mixing error with truth on purpose not by accident in order to lead members of the body of Christ away from sound doctrine.
Jesus said:
"Lay not up for yourself treasures upon earth where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal
but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
For where your treasure is there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:19-21
The Lord said to take up our cross and follow him. The idea is to forsake our own wills in this life that conflict with God's written will for our lives. Matthew 10:38, 16:24; Mark 8:34, 10:21; Luke 9:23, 14:27.
The only way to do this is to know God's word on how to live life God's way by following his Son Jesus Christ our Saviour who led the way by being obedient to God's will. Though he went to the cross for the sins of us and we will not being doing that yet we following the obedient attitude to the Father, the Lord gave as our example.
This course will help you understand the do's and don'ts' of following the Lord. Many texts are given on each subject that inform us of God's will for living life now. This will be an educational discipleship course that will get you going on the way into maturity in Christ.
Download and read each chapter. Look up the scripture texts referenced. Take the quizzes and the answers will be provided for your self examination. The purpose is to grow in knowledge of the Lord. So take your time to learn and grow. The intention is long term discipleship in transformation into the image of the Lord which is an attitude of obedience to the the instructions of the Father as given to the Lord and written in the New Testament.

THE CONTENT IS THE SAME AND THE ATTITUDE OF THE STUDENT SHOULD BE LONG TERM IN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST AS HIS DISCIPLE.
